I was gonna change the world with honor and aggression, but no one listened, no one cared; all they saw was misdirection.

Hey everyone out there in NG-land. Hey, what can I say? We need to stop meeting like this.
Haha anyway...
SO for those of you who even remember me and my work (and I'm grateful for those who do) I have to apologize: I haven't been doing any cartooning or even anything artistic in over a year. Partially contriuted to life changes, bad economy, and laziness, but also due to some difficulty: "The Sandbox", my last original attempt at creating an entertaining product, just came with too much red tape. When you're doing a piece on something as volatile as the war in Iraq, as fictitious and as funny as you try to make it, will always end badly one way or another. Bottom line is it's hard to take war and death lightly, especially when it's on such a personal level and when it affects others around you. So it may have to remain a production that I put on the shelf for some time, maybe even until after I leave the service. I may even have to adjust it to fit around the stories of Afghanistan and I'll have to call it "Mountain Box" or something. I dunno.
Anyway, so after much thought, I will probably be resurrecting the "Mama's Boy" series with a new release as early as this spring. I had a lot more fun creating a story and making the paramters of that universe, as opposed to recreating a war-driven one that mirrored my own. So for those of you who were fans (or even critics) of my work, I'd like your input. A lot will have changed with the storyline itself: Joey and his friends will be closer to 25 than 21. I will have to adjust the plots and political tones to "get with the times". So the cartoon itself will have evolved a little. But progression is nothing without knowing your audience. So for those of you who are familiar with me and my previous work, and have maybe made some observations about how to make it better, I must ask the question:
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FROM ME IN THE FUTURE?
It could be something about Mama's Boy. Maybe "The Sandbox" really did appeal to you and you'd like to hear more stories I have, outdated as they might be at this point. Any/all constructive criticism is welcome. Post or PM me if you have something to share. But please keep it specific: if you're just going to tell me that I suck, that I need to draw/animate better, that I need to come up with funnier jokes.....yeah. Roger. Got it.
Thanks for your time!
